Let's give the children of political prisoners a summer vacation!

We’re raising funds for summer activities for children of political prisoners. When one parent is jailed and the other in exile, kids are left vulnerable. Each child under 16 will receive €100 to support camps, sports, and classes.

When one parent ends up behind bars and the other is forced to flee abroad, it is the children who suffer the most. Today, hundreds of families of political prisoners live in exile, facing financial and everyday hardships. Their children are deprived of their homes, connections, and often even the most basic necessities.

We are launching our traditional fundraiser to support these children. This is not abstract charity — it’s concrete assistance for kids who urgently need our solidarity right now.

Each child under 16 will receive €100. Applications for assistance are accepted until May 18 (inclusive).

What are the funds typically used for?
– Excursions, trips, travel, and summer camps;
– Educational clubs like chess, drawing, and more;
– Sports activities: swimming, tennis, football;
– Equipment for play and sport: balls, sneakers, scooters, bicycles, etc.

Who can apply for assistance?
– Families of political prisoners with children, where one or both parents have been imprisoned for at least three months (including “chemistry” with or without assignment);
– Former political prisoners with children;
– Parents serving “home chemistry” who are either disabled, retired, or raising children under three years old.

This children’s campaign is organized by the Humanitarian Ambulance Service initiative, which includes the BYSOL Foundation, By_Help, A Country to Live In, and Dissidentby. The campaign is held before the summer holidays and is aimed at making sure Belarusians don’t feel abandoned. Support this initiative — even a small contribution can change someone’s life for the better. Let’s stand with them until they can return home.
